Kadarjah Lewis

"Coach Evan truly knows his stuff. I've been working with him for 3 years now. His coaching has made me an All American and an overall more athletic person. One of the things I admire most about Coach Evan is the way he coaches us athletes. He understands that no two athletes are the same so he creates individual plans based on your strengths and weaknesses. I also admire how he pushed me to be my best, but also understands when a rest day is needed."

Kadarjah was a 2021 High School All-America in the event of long jump. Aside from that she earned multiple conference and state titles in sprinting and jumping events. Over the course of 2 years working together, Lewis improved her long jump from 14'11'' to 19'2.75''. Her other personal bests include 7.24 (55m), 12.43 (100m), 26.15 (200m), 42.00 (300m), and 35'7'' (triple jump). Kedarjah currently competes collegiately at Iona.

Collin Stevenson

"When I was in high school, I didn't care much about sports, mostly because I didn't see myself with any talent. My junior year, Coach Evan helped me go from barely participating in any events, to not only loving the sport, but to qualify for states. He displayed time and again his main priority was the athletes and that he was wlling to do what it took to make us successful. Not only does Evan help his athletes unlock talents they didn't knew were possible, but he helps them develop a sense of accomplishment and discipline that can be carries on in every aspect of life."

Amanda Kauffman

“Coach Evan brought a great energy to my high school team. Everyday at practice he brought the perfect amount of fun, challenge, and expertise. I went from a clueless but eager track athlete to a well-rounded power track athlete under his guidance. I went from an average sprinter/hurdler to placing 5th at the Connecticut State Heptathlon with the help of Coach Evan. The skills I learned from Coach Evan set me up wonderfully for a successful collegiate career in Track and Field. I cannot recommend him enough!”

With 3706 total points, Amanda Kauffman went on to finish 5th at the 2017 CIAC Heptathlon.
